There’s an interesting article by Kathleen Rooney over at the Washington Post entitled “5 Myths About Oprah, Obama and You”. It’s worth a read. Interestingly enough, American women rated Mother Teresa as more influential than Oprah. Nonetheless, with 8 million women watching her every day, she has clout.
The troubling thing about her is that she’ll “endorse” Barack Obama, but she refuses to have Palin on her show. The reasons for this are two:
1) Palin is currently more popular than Oprah. Palin is the toast of America.
2) Oprah desperately wants Barack Obama to be the next president. “I cried my eyelashes off,” she said after the Barack’s DNC speech.
Is Oprah political?

Why won’t Oprah have the most popular woman in America (Sarah Palin) on her show? Hmmm…
Meanwhile, conservative women are boycotting Oprah over the matter.
