This bailout mentality is getting to be ridiculous. ABC News’ The Newser has this today:
This morning Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson addressed a skeptical press about the latest plans for those 700 billion dollars that were appropriated for the “TARP” — or Troubled Asset Recovery Program. Now Paulson says Treasury won’t buy those “Trouble Assets” [...]

Excerpt:
One of the challenges of dealing with an economic crisis during campaign season is that when politicians and commentators use hyperbole and politically expedient rhetoric to bash “unregulated markets” and “Wall Street greed” they end up undermining not just confidence in George Bush’s policies or the Reagan legacy, but the fundamentals of our free market system. Campaigns, after all, don’t do subtlety. If one side can find an advantage, it’s easier to throw the proverbial baby out with the bathwater.

Obama supports abortion, late-term abortion, partial-birth abortion, and infanticide for infants who survive birth. Robert George, a man that I highly respect wrote an excellent article on: Obama’s Abortion Extremism.

In case you’re still wondering, George Weigel explains why there are Pro-life Catholics for Obama (Newsweek).
