Historically, Rome and her Protestant children's hands drip with the blood of the true saints, and when the political climate is right, will do it again. I see Newt as an apostate to Biblical Christianity and, as a substitute, has turned to fables. It may help him financially and politically, but will do him no good in eternity. From a sinner who has returned to the Catholic Church after 2 divorces and a third marriage. I thank God the Pastor at my Catholic Church didn't treat me with such scorn. I am a repentant sinner who yearns to worship my God with the sacred adoration HE deserves. I love being back to the Catholic Church after 29 long, long unpeaceful years. Thank God for compassionate, kind Catholics. Thank God for kind Priests who will guide One such as me back home, to the Catholic Church. About the marital/divorce history, resolution is between Newt and God and no doubt his Confessor is being of assistance - we should keep out of this area. I will say a prayer for Newt and I hope Newt might say one for me - I ain't perfect! Being a Catholic could help in politics: Hitler was an altar boy, Stalin a seminarian. My father told me that when he heard a guy trumpeting that he was a Catholic, he would keep a firm hand on his wallet until the guy was out of sight! Those who think they are without sin fool themselves. The second is to turn from sin and toward Christ. This is called repentance.
